Colour Light Therapy
Whether it’s physical, mental, emotional or spiritual support you are needing – there is a way forward with Colour Light Therapy. These relaxing treatments can be a powerful and transformational route to better health and well-being, often resolving deep unconscious patterns and traumas leading to renewed vitality.
Colour Light Therapy uses precisely targeted light treatments to gently unlock and release emotional trauma and blocked energies that often underlie our illnesses.
Patients report not only physical changes, but improved emotional outlooks and a clearer sense of life direction after treatments.
Colour Light Therapy involves focusing coloured light on points on the skin (often following acupuncture meridians) in order to energize powerful healing impulses in our physical and energy bodies.
How Colour and Light are Used:
Colour Light Therapy
We absorb colour energy not only through the eyes but also through the skin and the electro-magnetic field or aura.
Each colour has a different frequency and therefore communicates different energetic information.
Colour energy can be the catalyst for our healing process and encourages normal and healthy workings of the body.
Light is subtle in effect, fast moving and penetrates deeply into all the cells of the body. In a Colour Light Therapy treatment, frequencies of coloured light are thus focussed on the skin.
Treatments include: a specific set of points in a sequence using a prescribed pattern of colours. As the light is absorbed by the skin and transmitted along energetic pathways or meridians deep into the body, it stimulates intra-cellular communication which supports healing and change.
How Does Colour Light Therapy Work?
In a Colour Light Therapy treatment, frequencies of coloured light are thus focussed on the skin using a hand-held torch with specially designed, interchangeable glass rods which emit different colours of light. Each colour has adifferent frequency and therefore communicates different energetic information.
Treatments include a specific set of points in a sequence using a prescribed pattern of colours. As the light is absorbed by the skin and transmitted along energetic pathways or meridians deep into the body, it stimulates intra-cellular communication which supports healing and change.
Not only are scientists now discovering that light is actually the medium by which cells communicate but that it is at the very basis of many body functions.
Recently, a renowned biophysicist had the following to say about light:
“We know today that man is essentially a being of light. And the modern science of photobiology … is presently proving this. In terms of healing … the implications are immense. We now know, for example, that … light can initiate, or arrest, cascade-like reactions in the cells, and that genetic cellular damage can be virtually repaired, within hours, by faint beams of light.”
Dr. Fritz Albert Popp, Biophysicist.
Who Developed Colour Light Therapy?
It was German scientist, Dr. Peter Mandel, who transformed that knowledge into modern Colour Light Therapy. He discovered that when specific acupuncture points, reflex zones and other established grid systems in the body are irradiated with focused coloured light beams, some symptoms could be alleviated within just a few minutes. His findings were followed by Russian researchers, who concluded that our bodies have channels of light that parallel the body’s 12 energy meridians as used in Chinese acupuncture.
Colour Light Therapy can be used alongside various psychotherapeutic methods such as dialoguing, emotional release techniques, dreamwork and meditation, to assist clients in taking their healing to a deeper level.
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is the process of using hypnosis as a tool to unlock the capacity of the unconscious mind to bring about a beneficial and therapeutic change.
A hypnotherapist usually brings this about by helping the conscious mind of the individual to relax and giving them situations to imagine and ‘experience’ in their ‘minds eye’.
hypnotherapy is a powerful way of overcoming a wide range of issues and works by recognising, and making use of the unconscious (or subconscious) parts of the mind. The unconscious mind stores an enormous amount of information and emotion, something over which the individual is unlikely to have any conscious knowledge.
However, although a person doesn’t normally have any conscious knowledge of these elements, and yet the conscious mind is still affected and reacting according to these influences.
Deep Relaxation Hypnotherapy
With gentle guidance, you will be assisted to reach a state of profound relaxation in a safe, supportive space. You will be then encouraged to access levels of
Deep Relaxation Hypnotherapy
awareness not normally available. Whatever issues we are dealing with, deep relaxation hypnotherapy will help bring to light underlying sub-conscious thoughts and emotions. The aim is to identify blockages – such as unhelpful thoughts and associated emotions that are holding us back and help reduce underlying anxieties that we may not be consciously aware of.
Through this process we uncover layers and get to get to the roots of what causes disharmonious experiences and negative tendencies. As these imbalances dissolve, we are more free to see a way forward. The mind becomes open once more to life without the limitations that it has become accustomed to, and a new sense of confidence can emerge.
A session will assist you one step at a time through a process tailored to your particular needs.
General Issues that can be helped:
(for more specific advice on assistance on an individual issue, please get in touch)
- Stress related conditions
- Panic Attacks
- Relationship issues
- Addictive behaviour
- Lack of confidence
- Excessive anger
- Feeling stuck and unable to move forward
- Times of major life change
- Exploration of issues from your past and childhood – where you may feel these are affecting you in the present.
What to expect in a session:
In a session you will be guided into a deeply relaxed state where you are then ready to access levels of consciousness not normally available to you. As you work with the processes it becomes easier to remove obstacles that had previously seemed un-surmountable.
This can sometimes involve re-visiting childhood experiences or previous experiences/challenges. Through following this guided process you can emerge seeing situations or people in your life from a new, transformed perspective.
Hypnosis as a Means for Transformation:
A form of Hypnosis which we have described as ‘Miracle Hypnosis’ is used in certain circumstances to bring about transformation where a person feels stuck or unable to move on, and will involve gentle guided instruction with certain principles inspired by ‘A Course in Miracles’ by Dr Helen Schucman’ and other related texts. The process can be described as: ‘Removing the blocks to the awareness of loves presence’ and can help with issues that may have felt difficult to shift and can help with issues relating to self esteem, self worth, relationships and finding a positive outlook in general.
If you find it hard to access peace, and disharmony is playing too big a role in your life, These sessions will help you to explore your relationship with yourself and others. You will be guided in a process to go beyond underlying conditions that lead us to feel victims of hurt, anger and other negative emotions.
Identifying and letting go of ‘lower level’ emotions such as guilt, fear, shame and low self worth, can bring about a big release. As we see things from a new, transformed perspective, no longer governed by these tendencies, we can operate with increased freedom and our relationship to the world around us becomes naturally more joyful.
This powerful process will help you connect to that which is more constant and wholesome.
“Seek not to change the world but to change your mind about the world” ACIM Dr Helen Schucman”
These sessions work with the principles taken from the well known inspirational text ‘A Course in Miracles’ by psychologist Dr Helen Schucman, giving powerful tools that are gifts for anyone on a path of personal transformation
” I found an unexpected smile upon my lips as I ‘woke’ at the end, feeling uplifted and with a lot less baggage to drag round. Although Robert aims to link you to the power of good in the universe, there is a certain simplicity and directness in his approach that cuts through doubts you may have in the process, and there’s nothing obscure or pretentiously mystical about it.”
